PRC Approves Special Services Price Adjustments

New Prices are Scheduled to Take Effect April 26, 2015


On March 10, 2015, the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) issued Order No. 2388 on Price Adjustments for Special Services finding the new Postal Service pricing to be consistent with the Consumer Price Index based price cap under the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2006.

The Special Services class consists of 11 products:

  • Ancillary Services, including Certified Mail and Post Office Box services
  • International Ancillary Services
  • Address Management Services
  • Caller Service
  • Credit Card Authentication
  • International Reply Coupon Service
  • International Business Reply Mail Service
  • Money Orders
  • Post Office Box Service
  • Customized Postage
  • Stamp Fulfillment Services
