Flooding in the South

The USPS has issued an Industry Alert regarding the flooding in Arkansas, Louisiana and Tennessee. To view the most current information, visit https://about.usps.com/news/service-alerts/resident-weather-updates.htm.

At this time, we are not seeing issues entering mail, but Fairrington will keep in touch with clients directly impacted by the weather.

Service Disruption Alerts Due to Flooding

UPDATE: March 11, 2016, 800 AM (ET)

 

Due to recent heavy rains and flash floods, the following offices are experiencing service disruptions:

 

Arkansas

All offices open. Some flooding impacts at 60 Post Offices in the District

 

Louisiana

As a result of flooding, the following operations have been temporarily suspended: Pioneer PO – 71266, Gloster PO – 71030, Hall Summit – 71034,

Bastrop – 71229, Bonita – 71223, Collinston – 71229, Elm Grove – 71051, Fairbanks – 71240, Lisbon – 71048, Mer Rouge – 71223 and 71261, Oak Grove – 71263 and 71266, Oak Ridge – 71264, Quitman – 71268, and Summerfield – 71079. Other offices remain open but some have impacts due to flooding. 

 

Tennessee

All offices open. Some flooding impacts at 35 Post Offices in the District
