Victor Warren
President and CEO

After graduating from the University of Iowa in 1973 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics and Marketing, Victor began his career in the transportation industry. From dispatcher to president, Victor has held varied positions with specialized carriers, including key management roles in the startup of less-than-truckload service for two truckload carriers. Victor recognized the important role that niche carriers played for the time sensitive graphic arts industry and founded Fairrington Transportation Corporation in January of 1981 to serve that market.

Victor is the father of five children, two boys and three girls and lives in a Chicago suburb with his w ife. Victor enjoys golf, the water and spending time with his family. Victor is actively involved in the Media Ministry of Christ Church of Oak Brook, where he serves as a Trustee.

Darl Leman
Chief Operating Officer

Darl joined Fairrington in October 2001 as chief operating officer. Darl's commitment to quality has helped reshape Fairrington into a "best of class" organization. Darl has managed privately held businesses for more than seventeen years. Darl holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois. Darl is married with three adult children, and enjoys traveling, reading nonfiction and landscaping.

Terry Young
Chief Financial Officer

Terry joined Fairrington in September of 2007.  Terry is a CPA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration in Finance. Terry has worked as controller, vice president of finance and chief financial officer for both private and publically held companies in the health care and transportation industries. Terry, who is married and has four children, enjoys coaching, playing golf and racquetball.

Jim Reifenberg
Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

Jim has over 25 years of experience in all facets of transportation, distribution and logistics. Jim started a mail logistics company in 1990 and moved that business into Fairrington Transportation in 1992. Jim serves as the Fairrington representative at DMA, MPA, MTAC, Idealliance (GCA) Postcom and MFSA. In addition, Jim has an extensive postal rate, processing and distribution background. Jim holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature.

Bert Pluska - MBA
Director of Information Technology

Bert is Fairrington’s Senior Information Technology Professional. He has in-depth experience in the design and implementation of large-scale complex systems, including ERP’s, and in the delivery of technical services which support them on an ongoing basis. He came to Fairrington early in 2003 with an extensive background in the Services Sector, including Transportation, Financial Services and Logistics Industries. His combination of technical skill and customer focus consistently results in the implementation of creative solutions, which improve competitive positioning by reducing costs and improving internal and external customer service.

Monte Fosher
Director of Client Services

Monte joined Fairrington in 1998, and brought extensive experience in the flatbed, van and refrigerated segments of the transportation industry. Monte holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wyoming. Monte's responsibilities have included both sales and operations. Monte currently is leading the Client Services and Data Services departments. Monte is married, has two grown children and two grandchildren.

Linal Shumate
Director of Transportation Operations

Linal joined Fairrington in 2004. Linal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging from Michigan State University. Linal has extensive sales and operations experience in LTL (less-than-truckload), small package, truckload and freight forwarding for large consolidation and distribution centers.
