President Obama Designates Robert G. Taub Acting Chairman of the Postal Regulatory Commission

TaubIn a press release, the PRC announced that President Barack Obama formally designated Commissioner Robert G. Taub as Acting Chairman of the Postal Regulatory Commission (Commission), effective immediately.

He succeeds Ruth Y. Goldway who has served as Chairman since August 2009. Goldway is the longest serving, full-time, Senate-confirmed Presidential appointee within the Executive Branch of the United States Government.

The Commission remains short two Commissioners awaiting reconfirmation of Nanci Langley and Tony Hammond.
