Fairrington’s Philip Komorowski to Lead NPTC Round Table


Philip Komorowski will lead a round table at this year’s NPTC Safety Conference. The focus of Philip’s round table will be “Enhancing Background Searches.”

The National Safety Conference is a day-and-a-half educational program that offers a unique format of presentations, discussions with key government officials, problem-solving workshops, expert panels, and networking opportunities. It provides attendees with insights into, and implementable solutions for, strategic safety and security issues that face today’s private fleets.

National Private Truck Council, the only trade association in the United States devoted exclusively to the interests of the private corporate trucking fleet industry and its professional practitioners. NPTC represents a cross-section of American manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and public service organizations.

Phil has more than 22 years of transportation experience in Operations, Management and Sales. He began his logistics career with Roadway Express and Watkins Motor Lines. He joined Fairrington Transportation in 2005 where he held various positions including Regional Manager of Transportation Operations and Manager of Expedited Operations before assuming his current role, Division Manager of FTC Transport which operates as the private fleet for Fairrington. He is responsible for all aspects of running the fleet including recruiting, safety, operations and ensuring customer needs are met cost effectively. Phil has been involved with the NPTC since 2010 and is a member of the Safety Committee as well as the Legislative and Regulatory Advisory Committee.  Ranging in size from family-owned small businesses and town utility fleets to Fortune 500 global conglomerates. Under his leadership FTC Transport earned the NPTC Fleet Safety Award in 2016 and 2017.
