Fairrington Reaffirms Commitment to Security through SOC 2 Type 2 Audit
This year Fairrington formalized that commitment with an independent audit that reviewed the organization’s policies and practices in the following areas:
- Security: The system is protected against unauthorized access (both physical and logical).
- Availability: The system is available for operation and use as committed or agreed.
- Processing Integrity: System processing is complete, accurate, timely, and authorized.
- Confidentiality: Information designated as confidential is protected as committed or agreed
The independent audit demonstrates Fairrington’s compliance with SOC 2 Type 2 standards. The American Institute of CPA’s (AICPA)’s, Service Organization Controls (SOC), are a series of accounting standards that measure the control of financial information for a service organization.
“Fairrington strives for the highest level of internal controls and compliance standards over our operations,” said Mark Nickel, chief financial officer. “Successfully completing this difficult audit demonstrates the effectiveness of our compliance program.”
“Companies rely on Fairrington to protect their data through the mail production process on a daily basis,” stated Victor Warren, president. “Today’s announcement provides assurance that we have the systems and control procedures in place to safeguard clients’ information.”
